Oceanfront Bocce League Matches are Played on the Sand!

Bocce will take place in the sand on 57th street at the oceanfront. behind the Wynndam Hotel
This league is a freestyle form of bocce NO COURTS, throw the target ball anywhere in the sand area as if you were playing bocce on the beach. Beach Chairs and Coolers are Acceptable!
What you pack in your cooler is up to you, please do not leave any trash behind!
Things to Know & on Game Nights
When creating a team, if you are the first one to register, choose "Captain" and a team name then send an invite to your teammate(s) to join. If you choose "Free Agent" Bocce VB will assign you a teammate for the season. If you are a returning player click "login" then register. Any questions contact us letsroll@boccevb.com
Each night, make sure you check in with the league Commissioner upon arrival. Beach access in on 57th and 56th street, parking is free at the Wynndam Hotel, you can park in the 3 story garage in front. Be aware of towing signs if you are parking on the street. Bocce will take place in the huge sand area directly behind Surf Club Grille, next to the volley ball courts. Please be on time and ready to play each week. A minimum of 1 player to avoid a forfeit during regular season games as well as playoffs. When you are done with your game, report your score to the Commissioner, and of course keep enjoy some fresh beer while playing. Standings will be updated on the website a few days after games.
How Do You Play?
This league is a freestyle form of bocce NO COURTS, throw the target anywhere in the sand area. This league is governed by Bocce VB Official League Game Rules & Bocce VB Official League Policy. A regulation match is played best two out of three and a single game is to 16 points, win by 2. This will be specified ahead of time by the League Commissioner and posted on the website if there are any changes games may be subject to match play.
Oh no Rain
in the event we need to cancel game due to weather, an email will be sent out and posted on the website and Facebook no later than 5:00 PM on game day for cancellation and update for a make-up.
Championship Playoffs
All teams make the playoff at the end of the season. Playoff will be a format and a teams position in the league will determine a good or bad playoff draw. What do you get for being a bocce champion this season? Winners will have bragging rights, a trophy, and special prize provided by the league sponsors. Good Luck!
